Lead times
Pieces in the catalogue ship in 3–10 working days after payment clears. Commissions are agreed individually and can take 2–6 weeks. We always email when your piece is on its way, with photos of the finished work.
Shipping
- UK— £4.99 flat. Royal Mail Tracked 48 (Tracked 24 for higher-value pieces). Typically 2–3 working days once posted.
- Worldwide— £19.99 flat. Royal Mail International Tracked. Typically 7–21 working days depending on the destination.
- Some countries charge import duty on arrival. That’s payable by you to your local carrier — we have no control over it. We’ll declare the correct value and goods description on the customs label.
Packaging
Each suitcase is wrapped in tissue, surrounded by foam corners, and boxed inside a sturdy outer. We reuse packaging where it’s clean. If you keep your shipping box you can return it to us in the same one if you need to.
Changing your mind (UK)
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from delivery to tell us you’d like to return your piece, and then another 14 days to send it back.
- Email hello@tinytreasuresbigworlds.co.uk with your order number and a quick note. We’ll reply with a freepost label.
- Re-pack the piece in its original packaging and post it within 14 days of telling us.
- We’ll refund the price of the piece (and original delivery, if you ordered just one piece) within 14 days of receiving the return, to the card you paid with.
Changing your mind (outside the UK)
Same 14-day right applies, but you cover the cost of return postage and customs. We’ll refund the piece price (not original delivery) once it’s back with us in saleable condition.
Commissions and special orders
Made-to-order pieces are non-refundable once work has begun. If the finished piece doesn’t match what we agreed in writing, we’ll fix it or refund — we’ll always make this right.
Damaged in transit
Pack photos and the piece, email us within 7 daysof delivery, and we’ll repair, replace where possible, or refund. Many pieces are one of one so a like-for-like replacement may not be available — we’ll always talk you through the options.
Faulty pieces
If something stops working as it should within 30 days of delivery, UK Consumer Rights Act applies: we’ll repair, replace, or refund. After 30 days, get in touch — we generally fix issues beyond the strict warranty if they relate to our workmanship.
